How are you supposed to respond when someone pokes you on facebook? I feel like there ought to be an option like, “poke back with comment”, or something. Poking back without a comment doesn’t feel right, because it never turns into dialog. And a message like “hey I got your poke how have you been” feels weird, too.

Now that public launch day has come and gone, I’m having trouble figuring out what to do with myself… work had been occupying most of my time & energy for the past month or so.
Jesse said he calls this “the bends”, which is what happens to divers if they come up too quickly after a deep dive.

I’ve heard Watchmen is pretty good, but recently I’ve found that big-budget hollywood movies don’t really do it for me, even ones that are admired by the critics / academy / etc. Also, awesome visuals / special effects don’t do it for me anymore.

You know, I’ve never even played golf in real life, but for some reason computer golf games are my fucking weakness. I just came to this realization in the last week (though I should have sooner if I’d thought about it), after pikop brought Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 over. AND NOW I CAN’T STOP PLAYING. cursebird may be the most awesome thing in the history of the internet. Seriously, I can watch it any time, 24 hours a day, and get a constant stream of entertainment with zero effort, for as long or as short as I’d like. What else could you ask for? It has managed to remind me of the value of user-generated content.
